Review
Claudiosoft Wave Splitter is an audio editing utility for Windows. This application allows you to extract a wave sample from a larger file without moving it to the RAM memory, which in theory should save you time. This application, I think, is intended for bigger files than your average 3mb songs. For such files, you wouldn't need to save time. But with bigger files, applications become increasingly dependent on RAM memory. The application is really simple, despite all the technical jargon. All you have to do to extract your wave samples is add the file into the interface. There, you have several options that you can use, or not. You have a start and an end point. Those will define what is actually extracted and what is discarded. The application has a built-in media player that will help you determine where you want to cut. There is even a wave graphic that you can open on a separate window that should also help you with the process. This application is free of charge so you can simply check it out, no strings attached. |
